Associate Director of Civil Rights and Bias Response / Title IX Coordinator
Cary Carr (she/her/hers) has joined Â鶹AV as the inaugural Associate Director of Civil Rights and Bias Response / Title IX Coordinator. For the last decade, Cary has provided prevention education to students and community stakeholders and overseen crisis response systems. She holds a PhD and MPH from the University of Florida and her BA in Journalism from Temple University.
In her role, Cary is responsible for managing the grievance process and case management of complaints involving community members impacted by Title IX, Title VI, and other civil rights laws. She will also develop and implement policies, procedures, and educational programs to help foster a safe and inclusive environment on campus.
