ARCH Project Twilight Unveiling Celebration
Join the artist Nekisha Durrett and the Bryn Mawr Community for a special celebration and twilight unveiling of the "Don't Forget to Remember (Me)" campus monument. The artwork will be on full display and illuminated for the first time for all to see.
Nekisha Durrettâs âDonât Forget to Remember (Me)â is a commissioned monument at Âé¶čAV that responds to the legacy of exclusionary practices on the campus. Durrettâs artwork is the culmination of Âé¶čAVâs ARCH Project (Art Remediating Campus Histories), a five-year collaboration with students, staff, faculty, and alums, and was produced in partnership with Monument Lab.
Speakers will include artist Nekisha Durrett and others involved with the project. Light dessert will be served immediately following the unveiling.
