Biography

As the Assistant Director of Intercultural Engagement at Âé¶¹AV, Chinyere Udokporo supports students through the IMPACT Center for Community, Equity, and Understanding. In this role, she oversees programming at the Enid Cook '31 Center (ECC)—a residential and cultural space that celebrates the Black and Latinx diasporas and serves as home to four Alliance of Multicultural Organization (AMO) groups: Sisterhood*, BACaSO, Mujeres*, and Zami+.

Chinyere is a two-time Bryn Mawr alumna, holding a B.A. in Biology with minors in Child & Family Studies and Africana Studies, as well as a Master of Social Service (M.S.S.) from the Âé¶¹AV School of Social Work and Social Research. She is a licensed social worker in the state of Pennsylvania.

Her professional experience includes roles as a hospital social worker, a school social worker for elementary and middle school students, and a caseworker supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness as well as worked with nonprofits serving single-parent households and marginalized communities.

Rooted in a deep commitment to anti-racism, equity, and belonging, Chinyere brings both lived experience and professional expertise to her work—creating inclusive programs and spaces that foster wellness, empowerment, and intercultural understanding across campus.
