How We Promote Â鶹AV
Awards, alumnae/i achievements, impactful research, Bryn Mawr's close-knit community, holistic student support, and student research opportunities are examples of content the Office of Communications and Marketing is interested in covering and highlighting to enhance the College’s visibility, affirm its relevance, and showcase the outcomes of a Bryn Mawr education to external audiences.

Promoting the College can be done in many ways and on many platforms. Some content may be best suited for a website article that allows for depth and context. Other content may have greater impact as a page on the website, a social media post that quickly engages a broad audience, or as a feature in the Alumnae Bulletin. These decisions are guided by the story’s likely audience, timeliness, and how it fits within our overall content strategy.
When considering what content to cover and how, the Office of Communications and Marketing looks at many factors: Does it support institutional goals or highlight our mission? Is it relevant to prospective students, alumni, or peer institutions? This page gives examples of some of the ways we present content. For more on editorial decision-making visit this page.

Impactful Research
Research that generates meaningful contributions beyond the academic sphere—informing policy, practice, public understanding, or community well-being—while maintaining the rigor, curiosity, and foundational value that drive all scholarly work. Impactful research may address urgent societal challenges, shape new ways of thinking, or empower others to act. Coverage of impactful research often includes an article on the website and media outreach.
Example content and media coverage of impactful research:

Faculty and Student Research Collaborations
Faculty and student collaborations are among the signature experiences for many Bryn Mawr students and a key draw for prospective students. We're always looking to cover these collaborations, often with added photography and videography.
